Kank-A mouth sore medication provides temporary relief from mouth pain while forming a thin protective film over the sore. This long-lasting coating holds the pain relieving medicine in contact with the sore and blocks further irritation.
Benzocaine 20% (w/w, p/p)
Non-medicinal ingredients/Ingrédients non-médicinaux: alcohol, aloe barbadensis leaf powder, benzyl alcohol, cetylpyridinium chloride, dimethyl isosorbide, ethylcellulose, avour, liquidambar styraciflua oil, myroxylon pereirae (balsam peru) resin, octylacrylamide/acrylates/butylaminoethyl methacrylate copolymer, oleth-10, PEG-6, propylene glycol, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, SD alcohol 38-B, sodium saccharin, styrax benzoin gum, sucralose, tannic acid
Directions: Adults, adolescents and children 6 years or older. For occasional use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If this occurs, immediately flush thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. Use smallest amount possible to achieve desired result. Dry irritated area. Apply Kank-A to affected area with the easy to use applicator. Allow to dry. A thin film will form over the mouth sore. Keep mouth open and dry for 30 to 60 seconds after applying while film forms. Do not remove film which will slowly disintegrate over six hours. Repeat as necessary, up to 4 times daily or as directed by a dentist or health care practitioner.
For relief of dental appliance pain: Apply to the affected area, wait until relief is obtained, and rinse the mouth before reinserting the appliance. Contact a dentist at regular intervals when using this product to relieve pain during adjustment of new dentures or other dental appliances. Do not eat for one hour following use. Do not chew gum or food while numbness persists. Children under 12 years of age should be supervised by an adult in the use of this product.
