Directions for Use:
Reconstitute with water only
Dissolve the entire contents of 4 sticks in 1 L, 2 sticks in 500 mL, or 1 stick in 250 mL of drinking water (to achieve the appropriate concentration of medicinal ingredients). If drinking water is not available, use boiled or bottled water to prepare the solution. Do not boil the solution after it is prepared.
Tastes best served cold.
Recommended dose:
Infants <1 year
Consult a physician before using Pedialyte Powder Sticks.
Children 1-2 years
Give 50-100 mL per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, up to a maximum of 1 L over a period of 24 hours.
Attempt to give solution as soon as diarrhea begins.
Offer small frequent sips every 15 minutes, increasing serving size as tolerated.
Children 2-9 years
Give 100-200 mL per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, up to a maximum of 1 L over a period of 8 to 24 hours.
Offer small frequent sips every 15 minutes, increasing serving size as tolerated.
Adults, adolescents, and children ≥ 10 years
Take 200-400 mL per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, or as much as wanted.
Take small frequent sips every 15 minutes, increasing serving size as tolerated.
Storage & Handling
Directions for Use:
Store powder sticks at room temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures.
Refrigerate unused reconstituted product in a sealed container and use within 24 hours.
