The natural senna used in SENOKOT® Extra Strength is extracted from the deseeded and dried pods of the Senna Alexandrina flower.

Senna has been used as a natural laxative for thousands of years to relieve constipation. SENOKOT® Extra Strength works by enhancing the body’s natural wave-like contractions in the colon (peristalsis) to help promote a bowel movement.

SENOKOT® typically takes effect in 6-12 hrs and can be taken at bedtime for gentle overnight relief of occasional constipation.

Active ingredients: Each SENOKOT® Extra Strength tablet contains 17.2 mg sennosides from natural senna.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Corn starch, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose.

Store at 15-25°C.

ADULTS: 1-2 tablets once or twice daily, preferably at bedtime.
